RGT will release a new 1/10 crawler called “CHALLENGER”, model number: EX86170. The CHALLENGER is a high-performance crawler that offers a smoother climbing experience. It features a portal axle structure, two-speed transmission, DIG system, rear axle locking function, and the ability to switch between front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive modes. With a 6.6% overspeed ratio between the front and rear wheels, the CHALLENGER is designed to excel in climbing performance. The truck-shaped appearance of the CHALLENGER is enhanced by its two-section combined soft and hard shells, which highlight its powerful climbing performance and customization options. The CHALLENGER comes pre-equipped with a winch unlock function, rear axle housing Anti-roll bar, spare tire, LED light group, and an 8-channel transmitter.
Features:
The CHALLENGER features a newly designed low center-of-gravity Reducer, all-metal gears with 45# steel-made reduction shafts, and a high and low 2-speed switching design. It is also equipped with a DIG rear axle locking function, providing a tighter turning radius. The entire car adopts metal gears, high-precision rubber-cover bearing, and steel central CVD, ensuring smooth transmission performance and durability. The CHALLENGER also includes a Metal Axle Housing and Metal Baking Finish Axle Housing Cover, as well as a Portal Axle Design. The suspension system utilizes CNC aluminum alloy coilover shock absorbers with a double-stage spring design, allowing for easy damping adjustment based on different terrains. It also has a 25KG – 360 degree metal winch steering gear with a hidden conduit wire rope design, providing a better ability to cross in extreme tight rail situations.
The bodyshell of the CHALLENGER is made of a two-section PC soft shell, suitable for modification, and features environmentally friendly spray paint and transparent windows. It is available in three colors: yellow, green, and red. The bodyshell includes plastic accessories such as a roll cage, air grill, rear-view mirror, wiper, and front and rear lamp holders. It also comes with a spare tire as a standard part. The bodyshell has a flip cover for easy battery replacement, and the adjustable battery tray can accommodate batteries of different specifications. The CHALLENGER is equipped with a standard CNC winch seat and a 10-bead front bumper with LED headlights and fog lights on both sides. It rides on 1.9-inch electroplated silver simulated anti-dropping wheels with strong grip tires, improving climbing performance. With the option for front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive modes, the CHALLENGER offers versatility and all-steel gear construction.
Additional specifications of the CHALLENGER include a low-speed front gear ratio of 49.8:1 and a rear gear ratio of 53:1, as well as a high-speed front gear ratio of 26.3:1 and a rear gear ratio of 28:1. The front and rear exceed speed ratio is 6.6%. It has a vertical pass angle of 29°, an approach angle of 69°, and a departure angle of 61°.
